Homeless Shelter
One of the ways Church of The Savior contributes to our
Greater Atlanta Community is by supporting the Druid
Hills Presbyterian Church homeless shelter, McIver Hall.
One evening a month, Church Members prepare and
serve a chili dinner, including freshly baked cornbread,
salad, and desserts, to the residents of McIver Hall.
This shelter, supported by multiple churches,
provides a refuge for homeless men who are working or
actively seeking work during the colder months of
November to April.
 This opportunity to give something back to the Community includes cooking chili, baking cornbread, serving the
men in need, and holding their hands in prayer as we ask
a blessing for the food and their journey.
It is a wonderful way to interact with and support
Members of our Community who need a helping hand.
