Being part of a community means to me...

My partner and I actively searched for a
church home, an extended family if you will and simply could not
locate what we needed until we came to COS. Our desire was
to be welcomed and day one it was clear we were; not only did
every member of the church make it a point to introduce
themselves but during communion the minister addressed us both
by name as we were served.
Being part of a community is embracing the spirit of a
servant and reaching out to all around to assist with their
needs, something greater than just yourself so to speak and
being a part of a church community.
I can tell you about how warmly we were and are embraced
there, I can tell you how we have been compelled to find things
to give back to help it grow or I can tell you that it
is my extended family - all would be true. I
recommend you come, visit and experience yourself our community
and see if you too will suddenly just find yourself finally
home.
