Being part of a community means to me...
We joined Church of the Savior three years
ago. The storytelling sermon style is one of the things that
brought us through the door and keeps bringing us back. The open
and affirming congregation feels genuine.
Church of the Savior encourages involvement
in small groups. We sing in the choir and perform with the hand
bells for special music. Practicing the Eucharist once a month
is important for us too. The quiet time spent in community
prayer brings us serenity to carry us through the week.
Overall, we enjoy attending Church of the
Savior because it’s a place in worship where we come together to
covenant with God, each other and ourselves.
